Siddhartha is a Brahman* in India that has lived a very eclectic life in search of enlightenment. He has finally achieved his own enlightenment and is ready to share his experiences with the rest of India in office as Ferryman. When he was younger, he studied to be a monk and eventually left home with his friend Govinda to learn from the Semanas* in the woods. He spent much of his life here learning about Buddhist teachings, but was unable to achieve true enlightenment and ultimately left. He made his way to a town where he meets the love of his life Kamala, who inspires him to try a material life. After some time, he gained wealth while studying under a merchant and indulges in gambling, possessions and women. This life is completely opposite of his life as a Brahman and he is still unable to achieve enlightenment, so he decides to leave in search of a new method. It is at this point in his life that he meets our current ferryman, Vasudeva. In his presence and under his teachings, he is finally able to achieve enlightenment. 

With Vasudeva’s retirement, Siddhartha is the obvious choice to be the new ferryman. He has hands on experience, he is a man of the people and he has achieved full enlightenment. Electing Siddhartha means a greater chance at enlightenment and a greater life for all people in the world. The effect he will have on the world is unbelievable, he will provide insight to billions. Vote Siddhartha for ferryman, he’s the right choice on the path of enlightenment.
